About Beltana and Spellsinger
Singer of Spells. Keeper of Flame. Daughter of the Drum.
I was born under Minnesota skies, and moved the the Ozark Mountains of Missouri... but I came to life in a Beltane fire.
In 1996, barefoot in the grass at a pagan gathering in Wisconsin, I danced with the Goddess and over the fire, and was reborn as Beltana.
The fire named me.
The songs claimed me.
And I’ve been walking the spiral path ever since—across festivals, forests, and front porches; through Maiden and Motherhood, through the flames of love and loss, rage and resurrection.
I walk now with with them still, but also with the Sacred Scarlett Woman, and toward the Crone.
For over three decades, I’ve written and performed original music for pagan, musical and spiritual communities across the U.S.—from the rootsy folk-rock days of SONA, to the fierce feminine harmonies of BellaWyck, through the passion of Viridis, and on to my solo work as Beltana Spellsinger.
I have played for fire circles and freedom rallies, solstice rites and street protests, sacred ceremonies and stubborn hearts.
Now, I sing with SPELLSINGER, with Béla & RL MacDornáin, and we are growing, traveling, and creating anew!!!
